Improved bass
Re-engineering the space inside the cabinet frees up an extra 13% volume. This extra space helps give the bass response extra room to ‘breathe’, meaning it sounds deeper and more powerful.

Your choice of streaming
Whichever way you stream your music, the Mu-so delivers. With direct access to Spotify Connect (Premium Spotify account required), Tidal and thousands of Internet radio stations you can enjoy near limitless music at the touch of a preset. Chromecast is built-in, seamlessly linking to hundreds of supporting apps, such as Deezer, Qobuz and SoundCloud. If you prefer to stream within your own network, UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play) is also supported – right up to High Resolution 32 bit/384 kHz files.

AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth
Stream music from your Apple device or iTunes with AirPlay 2 and you’ll not only hear your music library or favourite music service but also take advantage of Apple’s multiroom system. Alternatively, for a quick and easy link for anyone in the room, link a smartphone by Bluetooth and share the music instantly.

Multiroom made easy
As well as Apple’s AirPlay 2, the Mu-so offers two other ways to go multiroom. Either go Google or, better still, use the Naim app to link up all your compatible Naim products. The slick Naim app then lets you listen to the same music all around your home or different music in different rooms. The latest Mu-so is also Roon Ready for enhanced music searching.

Connect your TV up with HDMI ARC
New to the latest Mu-so is an HDMI ARC input. This is the ideal connection for a TV, making the Mu-so a very superior sound-base. Now you can get a huge upgrade to your TV’s sound as well as music playback, without the need for separate soundbar and wireless speaker.

Inputs to make the Mu-so your music hub
As well as HDMI, the Mu-so also comes with USB, optical digital and 3.5mm analogue inputs. If you still have a CD player, you can connect this via optical or analogue. If you’re a vinyl fan then why not plug in a turntable (via phono pre-amp) to the 3.5mm analogue input. For quick access to music files on a media device, the USB input is ideal.

The style standard setter – made better
Enhancements to the iconic control centre now include a proximity sensor that lights up the display as your hand approaches. The touch pad now features direct access to favourite playlists, radio stations, Spotify resume and multi-room functionality. The premium aluminium casing is now finished in a darker, burnished grey and there’s a wider choice of optional grilles colours – making it look even more attractive in your home.

UPnP™ (Universal Plug ‘n’ Play)

Stream music from a PC, Mac or network-attached storage in high-resolution ‘better than CD’ quality. 

AirPlay

Stream music from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch or from iTunes.

Bluetooth

Pair with a Bluetooth device to instantly play your music. Also compatible with aptX for high-performance audio where supported by the device connecting to Mu-so. 

Internet Radio

Access thousands of internet radio stations and save your favourite presets for easy access.

Alarm Clock

Mu-so features an alarm clock which can be enabled via the settings menu in the Naim app.

Multiroom Ready

Play music between any combination of Mu-sos and Mu-so Qbs in up to five rooms (up to four via wi-fi; fifth via ethernet connection). Choose the same song in beat-perfect sync or play different music in different rooms all via the Naim app.

USB

Play music from your iPhone, iPad, iPod and many other MP3 players and USB sticks.

Digital Input (Optical)

Boost audio from digital sources such as TVs, set top boxes, CD players or games consoles. (Does not feature HDMI)

Spotify Connect

Native support of Spotify to stream millions of songs from your portable device. 

TIDAL

The lossless streaming service is integrated into the system for an immersive, high-quality sound experience. Plus get a 90-day free trial of the lossless Hi-Fi tier service.
